In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to plan, create and cultivate an urban flower garden.
We will go through the different types of flowers to grow from May to October. The workshop will take place in two stages. The first will last 2 hours and will be held in a barn. The second part will be 1.5 hours long and will be held in our gardens in June when the seedlings are in the ground and the harvest of Spring blooms are underway.
To start the 2024 growing season, each participant will receive:
• 3 envelopes of 25 seeds each of zinnia, cosmos and sunflower
• 9 seedlings of a mixture of celosia, snapdragon and statice
• 2 dahlia tubers
• 10 selected tulip bulbs (pick-up from the farm in the fall)
